We bring you the sad news today that the Paphos Aquarium has closed down once and for all. They had been losing money for the past couple of years and as they were a privately run company. I.e not supported by local council they found it difficult to compete with other attractions in the area. The animals will now be sold of to private buyers. Never fear though, if you are planning on catching a flight to paphos then the town still has plenty on offer for you and your family. Flights Resume 04/21/2010
Wahey!!! (not sure if that is the correct spelling!) Flights are now operating out of the UK and the majority of Europe. The passengers on the first long haul flight back into Heathrow airport broke into applause as they touched down safely this morning. According to the BBC website there will be a slow return to normality after the shutdown that has lasted the past 6 days. Therefore flights to Paphos will still likely be delayed as airlines try to get aircraft and crew into the correct positions and clear the backlog of returning passengers. Flights Grounded 04/17/2010
Well who would have thought it. Ash can ground planes. When this volcano erupted in Iceland a few days ago, I don't think anyone would have had any idea how much affect it would have on flights throughout the whole of Europe. I feel sorry for everyone who is stuck in different parts of the world, trying to get home to see family and friends. The ferries must be doing a roaring trade. I know ferries from Holland to the UK are fully booked for this weekend, but at least some people are able to arrange alternative travel arrangements. You can check out the latest information here for Paphos flights. Paphos Weather 04/14/2010
